Terms & Conditions

  1. The agreement/contract constitutes an order for a wedding video/DVD. No part of this agreement will be delivered until balance is paid in full.

  2. Upon signing of the agreement/contract and payment of the 1st deposit, John Thiessen/Alta Resort Productions reserves the time agreed upon, and is obligated not to make other reservations for this time. It is for this reason that deposits are required and the deposits are transferable but 100% non-refundable. (Transferable, provided the date is available)

  3. Provided that ALL media elements (music & photos) are provided by the bride and groom on or before the wedding date, the completed DVD(s) will be delivered within 12-14 weeks after the wedding date. RUSH edits are available at an additional cost.

  4. John Thiessen/Alta Resort Productions reserves the right to use footage gathered for purposes of display, exhibitions, contests, publication and other purposes. Unless otherwise specifically stated herein Master tapes remain the exclusive property of John Thiessen/Alta Resort Productions.

  5. John Thiessen/Alta Resort Productions limits itself to a full refund of the package price for any camera/tape malfunction or any operator error.

  6. Deposits are as follows: 50% is due at the signing of the agreement/contract, a further 25% is due 1 month prior to the wedding date, the final 25% is payable upon the wedding day. A 10% discount is given if payment is made in FULL at the time of booking. Full payment is required if initial booking is made within 30 days of the wedding date and the 10% discount does not apply.

  7. If you have booked either the “From this Moment” or “Happily Ever After” package, a full dinner meal must be provided for me. It is best that I’m included somewhere in the seating arrangements so I don’t miss any significant moments that might happen during your reception.
